RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY CHECKS
The North Wildwood Police Department is pleased to offer a residential property check service to residents who snowbird or are going out of town on vacation or will be away from their dwelling for an extended period in the off season between Labor Day and Memorial Day. When this service is requested, a patrol officer will periodically check the exterior of the property to assist in safeguarding your residence in your absence. The officer will get out of their car at the residence to walk around the property, check doors making sure the home is secure, and that there are not any broken pipes or wind damage and that there is no suspicious activity in the area.
Residents are encouraged to submit the Property Check Request Form to the Police Department in order to provide contact details which may needed in case of a problem at your property. Once completed you can scan it in and email it back to klees@nwpd.org, bring it into to the Police Department 24 hours a day 7 days a week, or mail it back to us at 901 Atlantic Avenue, North Wildwood, NJ 08260.

BUSINESS PROPERTY CHECKS
The North Wildwood Police Department offers two levels of service to protect your local business in the City. Business owners may choose to supply Emergency Contact information or sign up for our Business Property Check program to have your premise checked on a regular basis - which is especially helpful for our seasonally operated businesses. Once this service is requested, NPWD will periodically check the exterior of the property to assist in safeguarding your business in your absence, whether it’s just closed for the night, or closed for the season. The officer will get out of their car at the residence to walk around the property, check doors making sure the premise is secure, and that there is no suspicious activity in the area.
Businesses are required to submit the Business Emergency Contact Form or the Business Property Check Request Form to the Police Department in order to provide contact details which may needed in case of a problem at your property.
