The North Wildwood Police Department protects & serves a population of 4,000 full-time residents and over 9 million visitors to The Wildwood Island yearly. The North Wildwood Police Department is a full-service Law Enforcement Agency committed to protecting the health, safety, and property of all citizens; residents and visitors alike. We answer calls for service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The department consists of thirty full time sworn officers, two administrative assistants, two crossing guards, a code enforcement officer, a building maintenance person, and two records clerks. Additionally, approximately 50 seasonal employees are hired annually to serve the population influx during the summer season.
